Bug spray stolen from Pest Control vehicle

Lawrenceburg Now

Officials with Kirkland’s Pest Control in Lawrenceburg reported to police officers late last week that someone had stolen items out of a locked toolbox on a company truck.

Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that officers responded to the business shortly before 9:00 Friday morning. An employee reported that someone had broken into the toolbox, which was on a 2000 Ford Ranger parked outside the business.

Taken from the toolbox was a B&G sprayer and a bottle of Zenprox bug spray. Their combined value exceeded $200.

The employee reported that he had left the truck on the premises after his work shift the previous day. He said that, at that time, both the truck and toolbox had been secured.

Officers noted the possibility of obtaining video from security cameras at nearby businesses. The matter remains under investigation at the present time.
